Rabenstein Castle belongs to the three castles in the Hohen Fläming area in Brandenburg. It was built by the count of Belzig in 1251. During the centuries the castle had many prominent guests like Gustav II of Sweden and Czar Peter I.

On August 12th in 2003 a Greek dream became reality - a 2800m long rope bridge across the Gulf of Corinth. Its construction was often disturbed by seismic
activities in this area and the drift of the Peleponnesus. The depth of water is there about 65m.
